At one point or another you have likely been in a circumstance where you were working for someone. If you did what your boss wanted, you got to keep your job and were rewarded with a raise, eventually. If you didn’t, you were fired. And I hope everyone has the opportunity to run their own business or at least conduct their own business negotiation deal. To sit at the negotiation table with the weight of success or failure resting on your shoulders alone.
The United States of America was born with this bold idea of self ownership. That the government be of, by and for the people. Not only owned by the people, but the people own themselves. That is, self-ownership and self-government.
As we fast forward through U.S. history this coming of age story turns tragedy. The people lost their power. The government consumed and consolidated. The people were assigned numbers, schemes and scams, and then some great American cities were turned sacrifice zones. Until eventually the whole nation became a sacrifice zone.
So here we are in 2023 with red blooded Americans angry over their losses. Constitutional rights diluted and in some cases erased. The 2001 patriot act was a Trojan horse into their government from an administration elected on false terms. And their rights are all but gone. Yet, still remain on paper.
It was Donald Trump who spoke into these shadows. And the ears of the forgotten men and women heard. “I AM YOUR VOICE!” He proclaimed and the citizens of the USA began to hope. They began to believe change was possible. Until their voice was stolen out of the executive chair. Soon came the despair of a recked economy. More foreign invasions. And a compromised treasonous government, it was a dark time.
During it all a grand migration of the consumers from corporate news into independent media shifted. But an unspoken question lingered… are the independent really independent? Who owns them? Who do they work for?
Imagine for a minute a world in which the people of the United States were their own voice. They spoke United and corporations listened. Imagine a world were politicians feared bad press because, the truth would get told. Imagine if politicians didn’t get leaked notes of the debate questions, because the people owned the stage. They owned the cameras. They owned the airwaves.
This is what was intended for the system of government in the United States. But we got lost. And the voice of the people has been silenced and marginalized.
If the people of the United States want to truly be free, they must be the ones who fund their news. Direct. They must be the ones who hire and fire their sources. Imagine a world where your journalists crowdsourced their funding from the people. And the people unite to reject corporate and foreign owned news. And their ability to create a fake façade of followership. And the people unite to stop independents selling out, which makes them actors.
But the sad reality is far too many want it easy. They want corporations to provide the service for them without the work. For a small fee. A choice of products to choose from on TV. Rather than investing their time to cultivate and therefore own the news themselves.
The cost of self-ownership is freedom. Abandon ownership and you abandon your freedom. How bad do you want to be free?
Until the citizens Unite to be the owners of their news through direct funding, then we are accepting an off-brand, Chinese import version of freedom in these United States. Do you want a knock off or the real thing?
We want no more middle man. No more corporate controlled. No more compromised assets. No more government lies. No more agency and 4th unelected branch infiltration. We need DIRECT news ownership of, by and for the people.
Are you taking action? Or waiting?
Are you buying? Or letting others choose?
Are you speaking? Or letting others do that for you?
Are you owning? Or are you willing to be owned?
My challenge to you, become free.
And STAY FREE!
And when you do, don’t repeat the old cycle.
